Find me on:

Back In 2015, Studio K Gifts & Design opened its doors in Kaysville, Utah. This unique little shop sells gifts, home decor and also offers decorating and design services. Studio K’s products are meant to bring delight and joy to customers — and they do!
It all started when Kay Allen moved back to Utah from Arizona in 2012. A friend of hers had opened a store in Arizona. Kay was inspired to do the same. Then, in December of 2013, after a near-death experience caused by a heart arrhythmia, she decided to make this dream a reality. She quit her job at an Ogden architect firm. Just 7 weeks later Studio K was in business.
Studio K stands out from the competition.
Why? The main reason is because the shop supports locally-made products. This means that products are unique, unlike so much of the factory-made, cookie cutter stuff you can find any and everywhere. These products include a variety of handmade pottery, soaps, hand creams, books and even delicious chocolate. This comment from one customer echoes the sentiments of many:
What a great local store on Main street in downtown Kaysville. I love that they have many items from local people right in town. It is wonderful to support that hometown feeling….I plan to visit often!
Customers agree that it’s a blast both to give and receive gifts from this local shop. They’ve commented that many of the home decor pieces are their favorite to display in their homes. To help customers make the most of their living spaces, Studio K even offers decorating and design services.

This reflects a true care for each individual that comes through the door.

Sadly, today many businesses give off a negative vibe as if saying, “Just spend your money and leave.” Not so with Studio K Gifts & Design, where everyone is welcome to come, linger, relax, use the wifi and chat! The door is always open...figuratively, of course.

Studio K has got some exciting new things going on at the moment.

For one thing, they’ve started producing gift baskets for all occasions — new babies, graduations, weddings, corporate thank-you’s and more. These are available in a variety of sizes and price ranges. Delivery is even free within the local area! Who doesn’t love a basket full of gifts?!

In addition, the online store just launched recently. While there’s only a limited selection of current products up on the site right now, more gifts are being added every day. This means that products will be available to a wider audience. Shopping will also be more convenient for customers. Kay Allen is on a mission to spread joy. She’s doing quite well with the help of Studio K Gifts & Design!
